BEAUTIFY ME – Mission- Beautifying, decorating living dwellings of singles, families, and elderly homes and immediate surroundings or celebrating events . Overall individual training and encouragement in various areas. From helping to build self esteem, physical appearance financial illiteracy, to beautifying homes. dwellings of singles, families, and elderly homes . Providing free decor for parties and events to be a blessing to those who could not afford to celebrate .
Services /Activities -Teaching, Mentoring in Home Economics , self esteem building,grooming, fashion,financial planning, budgeting parenting,time management, relationships ,health and nutrition,elements of decorating, event design, and how to recycle items for other uses. Resources if needed to help with employment.
Motivation in gifts, talents and other skills that was perhaps hopelessly discarded. Will help bring beauty inside apartments, front doorsteps, backyards, and porches and events of communities .
Donated items matched with those in need of building a better community. Providing furniture, linen ,accessories to beautify a home, decor for events for any occasion, tools, plants and accessories for community gardens . Children motivated to help their neighborhood look better.
Each neighbor invited to help another neighbor in the community. Hopefully motivating even property owners to increase the value of their properties with a little motivation.
Elderly helped to declutter and give items to others as well as having their places revived. Hopefully motivating even property owners to increase the value of their properties with a little TLC.
Being a mother of five and grandmother of fourteen, I understand the need of having a comfortable and nice place to call home when you walk in. Trained in home design, also as a event planner, outreach worker and evangelist, I had the opportunity to visit many homes at times..
Your Funds will help for Shirts, tools, paints, nails, fabrics, lifts, occasionally rented pickup trucks when needed, and lunches to volunteers.
I saw the need and the despair of families. Their homes in need of items, I saw the despair of single Moms,children dreaming of having a beautiful room. Parents unable to only provide the basics and desiring to do more. Some just not knowing how to design their place, or able to decorate and celebrate their families accomplishments,not knowing how to start!
Seeing so many people who live in poverty, living in such indecent surroundings is so sad. Seeing also the increase in Thrift stores which has booming business now, and their pricing rising to seemingly benefit the middle class instead of the poor.
Traveling and seeing items that are discarded that could have helped someone’s home be comfortable. Items discarded by others who bought a newer style or discarded because of slight damage taken away by the collection trucks and crushed. Many people do not know how to decorate or use what they have in a different way. I realized so many people could possible help change this in the lives of some people. Helping to celebrate their lives !
Experiencing the joy of a child, mother ,or couple going into a newly painted and decorated room that really doesn’t take a lot! Giving a child a birthday party with all the decor bringing joy and making memories for that family who could not afford .
Having a couple enjoy their newly decorated Living room, kitchen, bedroom, or bathroom… what a blessing!
Bright happy painted room , simple bed spread , curtains , pillows , pictures, decent bed etc
Helping someone to celebrate a event who could not afford to Birthday, graduation, appreciation etc. Many-children and teens have never had a celebration for them . Party items are usually thrown away but can be used multiple times ti bring joy to the young or old !

1. Donate items you no longer want not trash but items that would look nice in another setting.
2. If you gave a garage donate a space to receive items that are donated.
3. Donate linen for beds , curtains , table cloths , fabric.
4. Donate paint , varnish , brushes etc
5. Clean furniture , tables , chairs
6. Donate your decorating skills and services.
7. Donate your time to help paint and repair .
8. Donate cosmetics for the lady of the house
9. Donate a new outfit for the parents on completion celebration day.
10. Donate a dinner ticket to treat the family out for dinner.
11. Donate a free hair cut and style for a parent
12. Volunteer for pickup and delivery
13. Donate your used decorations to help decorate events etc. Birthday, holidays, weddings, appreciations m, graduations, funerals
